july, aug, sept are all beautiful good times to travel to ireland. but the hotel rates are a little lower the first 2 weeks of sept give rise to its not high session. air lingus is the main airline over here so it may be a little cheaper.

I am winsome my wife to Ireland in October to celebrate our 10th anniversary. I am doing research on the country but need help anyway best way to see Ireland (guided tour, self drive, etc.) and if bed and breakfasts are the way to go or if its worth it
To be on the up, I'd suggest self-drive. You set your own pace and go where YOU want to go. It's not that hard to drive on the left.
I thought about castles, but the acute ones are VERY expensive.
We had really nice luck with B&Bs.
