I recently booked a non-refundable go around-trip ticket to Australia from SFO for travel in April/May and found this:
-Qantas and United cost about the same.
-Qantas is more flexible with destinations in Australia.

Impatient research showed the fare to be about $1450. That was on Expedia. The cheapest flight is on United nonstop at $1225.

Yes it is a unbiased price!
I travel a lot, so I know several sites and travel agents... and they all give me prices rounding £700. (including taxes and fees)
